I hastily planned a weekend trip to cape cod to explore the lighthouses in the area and maybe do some bird watching as well. the morning started great with some beautiful sunrise shots but then the weather took a turn for the worse and I ended driving back to boston early. i had rented a 300mm prime lens for some bird photography but poor light made it really impossible to get any decent shots :( you win some, you loose some i guess.

i really got into birds during our trip to kenya in 2006 and since then that interest has really grown into quite an obsession!
