i really got into birds during our trip to kenya in 2006 and since then that interest has really grown into quite an obsession :) over the last 9 months or so I have made several trips to central park in search of birds. Even though I probably only photographed a small number of all the birds that pass through central park i still consider myself lucky to be able to see such beautiful creatures in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city that is new york!

julia got us free tickets to the 2007 us open men's semifinals! we spent a sunny afternoon at flushing meadows enjoying some great tennis.
