our last stop on our travles through italy lead us to venice. venice is without a doubt one of the most romantic cities in the world. venice is built on one hundred and seventeen small islands, and holds one hundred and fifty canals, connected by an amazing four hundred and nine bridges, of which only three cross the main canal. While most tour guides don’t recommend getting lost in the majority of cities, venice is the place to get hopelessly lost for a day, which is what we did!

our second stop was florence one of the world's most architecturally beautiful cities and one that was the hub of the renaissance.
