richard had some time to kill as cath was busy in london on an official visit. he urged me to join him in venice. it was raining in venice most of the time, but it was great to see richrad after a while and so the climate didn't dampen our spirits. we spent the day time walking around venice or taking the tour of the grand canal. we spent the nights in small roadside pubs. we met quite a few interesting people from different parts of the world!

a whole bunch of us flew down to sydney, australia to be part of richard and cath's wedding.
