we had front row seats at our colleague and his wife's 40th birthday party at their farm on the outskirts of hamburg.

a rustic setting complete with a cozy house, an unused stable and barn. the setting was perfect, the hospitality great and the bbq'd pork and sausages were delicious. overall a very enjoyable time!

kumarakom is a tiny hamlet on the banks of a lagoon, lulled by the ripples of the vembanad lake surrounded by a network of canals.
