we rafted down the isar river as part of our office summer party. 80 of us on a raft of logs held together by metal ropes. we boarded the bus at 8 am and drove down south to the town where we got on to the raft and down the river back towards munich. there were a whole bunch of benches that people could sit on, a makeshift tent that served as the toilet. we had food and of course a good amount of beer. we rafted down the river through three man made rapids which of course was fun!

back in delhi on a personal trip, i found the skies a beautiful blue and with clouds, much to my surprise and delight.
