13 hours of transit in bangkok international airport meant a $100 transit trip into bangkok to see the grand palace. instead of having passengers rot away in the airport the thai government came up with a great idea to have some tourism and some goodwill going. The whole tour took about 6 hours and it was a great and quick way to see bangkok atleast the grand palace and a couple of the buddhist temples. highly recommend it!

i wanted to get out of delhi and escape the craziness of holi, and so goa the former portugese colony was an obvious choice.
