i had been to delhi as a kid and seen the qutub minar and marveled at the intricate carvings. i got to qutab complex early enough to avoid the crowds and was able to spend close to an hour admiring the architecture and taking these pictures. qutab minar, the 239ft sandstone tower is an Indo-Islamic architectural wonder of ancient india. this 800 year old magnificent tower of victory stands in the qutab complex which has a number of other important monuments.

i have been in delhi too long not to have done any sight-seeing. so i decided one saturday to cross some of the sights off the list.
